Minnesota Non-Profit Organizations Developing Alternative To Guardianship System For People With Cognitive Disabilities
The non-profit organization Volunteers of America of Minnesota and Wisconsin is developing a replicable, statewide model based on supported decision-making to provide alternatives to guardianship for people with cognitive disabilities. For this project, the organization is collaborating with a group of social service agencies as the Center for Excellence in Supported Decision Making (CESDM).
