NQF Recommends Value-Based Purchasing Programs Use Consumer Attribution Models That Meet Accountability Criteria
The National Quality Forum (NQF) recommends that the consumer attribution models used in value-based purchasing programs and mandatory public reporting meet minimum criteria for accuracy and transparency. The choice of an attribution model should be dictated by the context in which it will be used and supported by evidence that it accurately attributes results to entities that can influence care and outcomes.
