Idaho To Move Child Behavioral Health Services To Medicaid

Idaho is planning to improve access and the service array for children’s mental health services by expanding Medicaid eligibility to children with a serious emotional disturbance (SED). Currently services for children with SED are state-funded only. Also, Medicaid will expand eligibility to children with an SED from the current 185% of the federal poverty level (FPL) to 300% FPL.
