Vermont Contracts With OneCare For Medicaid ACO Pilot Program
On February 8, 2017, Vermont Governor Phil Scott and the Agency for Human Services announced that the state had contracted with OneCare for a pilot Medicaid program intended to change the current fee-for-service system. OneCare will operate a Medicaid accountable care organization (ACO) under a one-year contract, valued at more than $93.3 million, with Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA).
