Transitional Living Program For Foster Youth Increased Housing Stability, Economic Well-Being

Foster youth transitioning to adulthood who participated in a Youth Villages transitional living program had greater housing stability and economic well-being after two years than a comparison group of youth who did not participate in the program. The program, called YVLifeSet, is being tested with a group of young adults aging out of Tennessee Department of Children's Services (DCS) care who were randomly assigned to receive the YVLifeSet or traditional services.
