12.1 Million People Enrolled In Individual Marketplace Plans During The 2017 Open Enrollment Period

Between November 1, 2016 and January 31, 2017, the Health Insurance Marketplace open enrollment period, 12.2 million people enrolled or re-enrolled in coverage for 2017. In total, nearly 8.4 million (69%) people with a marketplace plan re-enrolled in coverage, and 3.8 million (31%) enrolled for the first time.
