Illinois Medicaid Ends Contract With Molina For Central Region Due To Beneficiary Access Concerns
Illinois Medicaid is modifying its agreement with Molina Healthcare for mandatory managed care programs in six Central Illinois counties and disenrolling members. That’s because Molina’s provider network in the six counties — Christian, Logan, Macon, Menard, Piatt, and Sangamon counties — failed to meet state standards for beneficiary access. The termination affects the Central Illinois region Integrated Care Program (ICP), the Medicare-Medicaid Alignment Initiative (MMAI) for dual eligibles, and the Family Health Plan (FHP).
