Medicaid LTSS Spending $158 Billion In 2015, 30% Of Total Medicaid Expenditures

In 2015, Medicaid spending on long-term services and supports (LTSS) totaled $158 billion and accounted for 30% of total Medicaid expenditures. In 2013, Medicaid LTSS expenditures totaled $146.4 billion and accounted for 33% of total spending. On average, Medicaid LTSS expenditures grew at a rate of 3.8% per year between 2012 and 2015.
