Nebraska Combining Adult & Child DD Waivers

The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is combining its adult and child comprehensive developmental disability (DD) Medicaid waivers into one lifespan comprehensive waiver. The state’s goal is to simplify transitions as children age into adult services. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approved the amended waiver application on May 5, 2017.
