New Jersey Launches Fee-For-Service Mental Health For Remaining Programs

On July 1, 2017, the New Jersey Department of Human Services (DHS) launched fee-for-service reimbursement for most remaining behavioral health services. The state is in the process of shifting its Medicaid and state-funded (for the uninsured) mental health and addiction services from a grant-funded basis.
