Rhode Island Making Progress Toward Ending I/DD Sheltered Workshop Consent Decree
On July 28, 2017, a federal judge overseeing Rhode Island’s compliance with a consent decree to improve its services for individuals with developmental disabilities said the state was making progress complying with the terms to ensure that former sheltered workshop participants have jobs or participate in meaningful activities.
