Primary Care Access For Medicaid Beneficiaries Improved By 5.4 Percentage Points; Private Insurance Access Remained Steady

Primary care new patient appointment availability in 10 states improved by 5.4 percentage points between 2013 and 2016 for non-elderly people enrolled in Medicaid. During the same period, primary care appointment availability declined by 1.4 percentage points for non-elderly people covered by private health insurance.
