Nebraska's psychiatrist workforce ratio has held steady at 8.8 per 100,000 from 2003 through 2010. In rural areas of the state, the ratio was 4.0 psychiatrists per 100,000 state residents; in urban areas the ratio was 12.0 psychiatrists per 100,000.
