Our Lady Of The Lake Children’s Hospital In Baton Rouge Launches Pediatric ER

Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana will launch a pediatric emergency room specifically designed for children. The $230 million facility broke ground on February 18, 2017, and is projected to open its doors in the late summer of 2019.

Situated on 66 acres, the 350,000 square-foot facility will offer a number of features specifically for children and families. These features include playrooms on each of the six floors, large, family-centered private rooms, a dining room and food court with both indoor and outdoor seating, a pediatric pharmacy, a landscaped outdoor garden . . .
