December 30, 2009 The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services describes how it will implement provisions of the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act. The implementation of this Act will provide extra payments to some Medicare and Medicaid eligible medical professionals and some facilities that adopt and use electronic health records.
