Texas Releases Procurement For A Second Regional Foster Care Management Contract

On October 18, 2017, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) released a request for application (RFA 530-18-0021) for Community-Based Care (CBC) in Region 2, which includes all 30 Texas counties in Region 2 and the cities of Dallas, Fort Worth, Abilene, and Wichita Falls. Under the community-based care approach, DFPS will contract with a Single Source Continuum Contractor (SSCC) to develop a local foster care continuum network and improve child safety and placement outcomes.
