January 1, 2010 On January 7, 2010, Pennsylvania's Bucks County Board of Commissioners approved the three-year contract renewal between Bucks County (Bucks) and Magellan Behavioral Health (Magellan) of Pennsylvania, naming Magellan as the overseer of behavioral health services for the duration of the contract. The contract, valued at approximately $179.6 million, was effective as of January 1, 2010.
