January 1, 2010 In a January 2010 fact sheet, OYA indicated that it served about 2,000 youth between the ages of 12 and 24 at any given time; of those 1,100, about 54% were on probation or parole. Approximately 900 resided in one of 11 close custody facilities located across the state. OYA provides community services for the youth on probation or parole and case management for youth in close custody.
