Tennessee Proposes Reforms For State Juvenile Justice System To Improve Outcomes
On December 7, 2017, the Ad-hoc Tennessee Blue Ribbon Task Force on Juvenile Justice proposed reforms to improve outcomes in the juvenile justice system. The reforms could decrease the number of offending youths placed out of their homes, and could save the state $36 million over five years.
