19 Florida MCOs & Provider Service Networks Submit Bids For Medicaid Managed Care Rebid

On November 2, 2017, the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) released the names of 19 Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs) and provider service networks that bid for contracts in each region. Awards announcements are anticipated by April 16, 2018. Eligible managed care plans can be full-risk capitated managed care plans or fee-for-service provider service networks (FFS PSNs). However, any selected FFS PSN must transition to become a capitated managed care plan by the end of its second year of operations.
