Massachusetts Public Health Awards 3 Contracts For A Post-Overdose Community Follow-Up Program

On November 16, 2017, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) announced it had awarded $500,000 to three community-based health organizations to provide a post-overdose follow-up program. The awardees are Seven Hills Behavioral Health, Inc.; Boston Public Health Commission; and Health Innovations. The organizations will partner with first responders to conduct home visits with individuals who have been the subject of a 911 overdose call.
