FamilyCare, Oregon Medicaid CCO, To Close Following Failure To Settle 2018 Contract
FamilyCare, Oregon's second largest Medicaid coordinated care organization (CCO), has announced that they will close due to a failure to settle a 2018 contract with the Oregon Health Authority (OHA). As of January 31, 2018, FamilyCare's Medicaid members will need to transition to one of three other CCOs: Willamette Valley Community Health, Health Share of Oregon (Health Share), or Yamhill Community Care. The majority of the FamilyCare members are anticipated to transition to the other Portland-area Medicaid provider, Health Share.
