 January 18, 2010 The Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) issued its economic and fiscal impact report of Arizona's correctional facilities in January 2010. The report notes the impact of CCA's six facilities in Arizona on both the local and regional economies of the state. The report notes, among other findings, that the six CCA facilities generate more than $435.2 million in annual economic output; more than $205.4 million in total wages each year; and are responsible directly and indirectly for more than 3,000 jobs.
