Allure Group To Build New Health Care Facilities In Settlement With NY Attorney General
On January 5, 2018, the New York State Attorney General announced a $2 million settlement with Allure Group that includes provisions to build new health care facilities. The agreement comes after an investigation by the Attorney General's office into the closings of Rivington House on the Lower East Side, and the CABS Nursing Home (CABS) in Brooklyn. Under the agreement, Allure Group will make major improvements to the existing nursing home in Harlem, and open new facilities to fill health care gaps in Brooklyn and the Lower East Side of New York City that resulted from the closures.
