Ohio Medicaid Launching New Behavioral Health Care Coordination Program For High-Needs Members

The Ohio Medicaid program anticipates enrolling beneficiaries with serious mental illness (SMI) or addiction disorder in a new behavioral health care coordination program slated to launch in the summer of 2018. The state is asking behavioral health provider organizations interested in participating in the program to complete a readiness assessment by March 2, 2018.
