Oregon DHS Temporarily Restores Medicaid Long-Term Care Hours & Benefits
On February 9, 2018, the Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) announced an agreement to temporarily restore Medicaid long-term care hours and benefits to older adults and adults with disabilities who lost them due to program and rule changes. The state reached an agreement with Disability Rights Oregon (DRO), Legal Aid Services of Oregon (LASO) and the Oregon Law Center (OLC), which represented the beneficiaries who protested the program cuts.
