Woods Services Files Defamation Suit Against Disability Rights New York

Woods Services, Inc., a developmental disability services provider organization in Pennsylvania, is suing Disability Rights New York (DRNY) for defamation. In a report issued in October 2017, DRNY alleged that Woods had provided inadequate care to its residents. DRNY has been designated as the Protection and Advocacy System and Client Assistance Program for New York residents with disabilities since 2013.
