Oregon Regulators Fine Unity Center Over Failure To Report Employee Injuries

The Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Division (OSHA) recently fined Unity Center for Behavioral Health in Portland for failing to report incidents in which staff were injured by people seeking care at the center. Unity Center opened in January 2017. It started tracking incidents in March 2017. Since March 2017, Unity Center staff have reported more than 500 assaults by people seeking care.
