On March 27, 2018, Utah Governor Gary Herbert signed legislation, House Bill (HB) 472, to implement a partial Medicaid expansion. The provisions of HB 472 direct the Utah Department of Health (UDOH) to submit a Medicaid waiver amendment to expand Medicaid eligibility to adults with income of 100% or less of the federal poverty level (FPL), about $12,140 annually for a single person.
