Changing EHR Regs Spell Strategy Adjustment
For a decade, the electronic health record (EHR) landscape has been relatively fixed. The expectations of the Meaningful Use program were spelled out and progress has been slow but steady. The program has three stages, including adoption (Stage 1), interoperability and health information exchange (Stage 2), and EHR optimization (Stage 3)—see HHS Releases Stage 3 EHR Incentive Program Rules For 2017.
