Humana Expands Value-Based Orthopedic Specialty Care Model To Seven More States

On April 12, 2018, Humana announced it had expanded the availability of its total joint replacement episode-based bundled payment model for Medicare Advantage members undergoing total hip or knee joint replacement surgery to seven additional states. The addition more than doubles the number of states where Humana offers the bundled payment program, with more than 40 participating provider locations in 13 states across America.
