Florida’s Miami-Dade County Public Schools Releases RFP For School-Based Mental Health Services
On August 15, 2018, Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) released a request for proposals (RFP-18-003-CH) seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive community-based mental health services. Proposals are due by September 11, 2018. The contract is slated to begin in October 2018. The initial contract term will run for three years, followed by two one-year renewal options.
M-DCPS is comprised of approximately 392 schools, 345,000 students, and over 40,000 employees. The RFP said the district offers a variety of district-wide prevention programs and fosters partnerships that focus on mental wellness . . .
