Harris Healthcare Group Acquires Iatric Systems, Inc.

The health care group of Harris Computer Systems (Harris) recently acquired health care technology company Iatric Systems, Inc. (Iatric). With the purchase, Iatric Systems will begin operating independently as a unit within Harris.

As part of the transaction, Iatric Systems senior executive, Frank Fortner, will serve as the executive vice president for Iatric Systems. Iatric Systems leadership has stated that Harris’s tools and resources will bolster its ability to provide innovative health care IT solutions to hospitals and health care systems.
