University Hospitals & Walmart Partner On Joint Replacement Center Of Excellence Program
On June 11, 2018, University Hospitals (UH) Cleveland Medical Center announced it had contracted with Walmart to become a joint replacement national center of excellence for joint replacement surgery and orthopedic care for Walmart employees and their dependents. Walmart health plan members who opt to receive joint replacement surgery at University Hospitals will receive 100% coverage of the costs, and coverage for travel and lodging costs for the member and a caregiver.
