Health care IT solutions leader eClinicalWorks recently announced it is officially one of the first electronic health record (EHR) companies to integrate with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Blue Button 2.0 application programming interface (API). An API is essentially a software intermediary that allows two applications to communicate with each other.
