Otsuka & Proteus Expand Digital Medicine Partnership In 5-Year, $88 Million Collaboration Agreement

On October 11, 2018, Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Otsuka) and Proteus Digital Health (Proteus) announced they had signed a five-year expanded global collaboration agreement to further development and commercialization of a portfolio of medicines including the ABILIFY MYCITE® (aripiprazole tablets with sensor). As part of the expanded collaboration, Otsuka made $88 million in related equity and other payments to Proteus.
