Youth Villages Grants $10 Million In Four States To Launch YVLifeSet Program For Transition-Age Foster Youth
On October 23, 2018, Youth Villages announced the award of $10 million in total grants to Los Angeles, California; Illinois (Cook County, and southern Illinois); Washington, D.C., and Louisiana to implement its YVLifeSet program. YVLifeSet is an intensive, comprehensive support program for former foster transition-aged foster youth (ages 17 to 22). Details about each of the awards are as follows:
