California To Issue $1.5 Billion In Infrastructure Improvement Bonds For 13 Children’s Hospitals

California hospitals that serve children with disabilities enrolled in the California Children’s Services (CCS) Program will be eligible to use $1.5 billion in bond funding for capital improvement projects. The new funding is through a successful ballot initiative, Proposition 4 of 2018. The funds are reserved for the state’s 13 children’s hospitals and other public or private non-profit hospitals that treat children eligible for the CCS program.
