CMS Approves Florida Plan Adding Community Behavioral Health To The Low-Income Safety Net Pool

On November 30, 2018, the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approved an amendment to the Florida Medicaid Managed Medical Assistance Waiver program that adds community behavioral health provider organizations as a participating provider group to the low-income pool (LIP). This change goes into effect for state fiscal year (SFY) 2018/19.
