Kindred Healthcare & Netsmart Partner To Create Next Generation Post-Acute Platform

Kindred Healthcare (Kindred) and Netsmart recently announced they are partnering to create a next-generation post-acute care electronic medical record (EMR) platform. Netsmart—which designs, builds and delivers electronic health records (EHRs), solutions, and services—will combine its expertise with Kindred’s health care services experience to create an integrated post-acute solution platform that improves health care outcomes and addresses gaps in consumer care.

Under the collaboration, the two organizations will combine teams from both organizations, as well as use Netsmart’s portfolio of solutions as the base for the platform. The two organizations have already begun work . . .
