The Perennial Challenge For The New Year: Strategic Execution

The biggest challenge I have observed among provider organizations in 2018 can be summarized in one word—"execution.”  Essentially, many of the provider organization leaders that I have worked with and observed over the last year either have a sound strategic plan or a reasonable idea of the strategic direction that their organization needs to pursue. However, they have significant difficulties with implementation, both with revising existing operations as well as implementing new tactics. I see a few major factors influencing the execution of plans:
