Verily Partners With Walgreens Boots Alliance To Develop Medication Adherence Pilot Project

On December 19, 2018, Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (WBA) and Verily announced a collaboration to develop a medication adherence pilot project as the first step in an overall goal to offer new solutions to improve health outcomes. The medication adherence project will explore various methods and tools to improve adherence to prescription medications.

In addition, WBA will utilize Onduo, Verily's joint venture with Sanofi, to launch a virtual diabetes solution for Walgreens employees and family members with Type 2 diabetes.
