Between 2013 and 2018, the state of Texas decreased use of antipsychotics in nursing homes by 56%. The state moved from 51st in the nation for lowest antipsychotic use in 2013 (at 28.8% utilization throughout the state), to 10th in the nation in 2018 (at 12.6% usage throughout the state).
