North Carolina Sets 10 Statewide Goals To Improve Outcomes For Young Children
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) set 10 statewide goals to improve child health, safety, well-being, and learning outcomes by 2025. These goals include over 50 different measures related to children and families that have never been brought together at the state level. The state seeks to leverage resources and revise policies for young children across the state, including children in foster care.
