Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation To Fund Development Of Digital Assessment Tools

On April 2, 2019, the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF) announced that its Diagnostics Accelerator is seeking to fund the development of digital tools to capture quantifiable biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Digital biomarker tools may allow the remote capture of changes in a patient's physical and mental status at various stages of Alzheimer's disease; the information gathered can span cognitive assessments to motor ability to sleep disruptions.
