North Carolina DHHS Failed To Monitor LME-MCO Performance
The North Carolina state auditor says that for the past seven years the state has not provided adequate oversight of the seven local management entity-managed care organizations (LME-MCOs) that manage Medicaid behavioral health, addiction treatment, and disability support benefits.
