On May 29, 2019, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) released information about its proposed certification process for “care management agencies” (CMAs) for the upcoming Behavioral Health/Intellectual and Developmental Disability Tailored Plan (BH/IDD Tailored Plan) launch in July 2021.
