New Mexico Corrections Department Seeks New Prison Health Care Contractor

On June 12, 2019, the New Mexico Corrections Department (NMCD) issued a request for proposal (RFP 20-770-19-06067) seeking bids on comprehensive prison health care services. Responses are due by August 21, 2019. The state prison system holds about 7,000 inmates across 11 prison facilities. The selected contractor will provide medical, psychiatric, pharmacy, optometry, dental services, and all other relevant ancillary health services. This includes on-site preventive and primary, off-site secondary, and off-site tertiary health care services.
