Murphy Administration, St. Joseph’s Health Announce First Affordable Rental Development Under Agency’s Hospital Housing Partnership Program
The Murphy Administration and St. Joseph’s Health unveiled the first project under an innovative state partnership program to promote hospital investment in affordable and supportive housing in their communities, including homes for residents with special needs and experiencing high utilization of emergency services. Under the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency’s (NJHMFA) $12 million Hospital Partnership Subsidy Program, the agency is matching funding contributions from participating hospitals to provide rental housing affordable for low- and moderate-income families.
