Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure Associated With Dementia Risk
Blood pressure control patterns are associated with dementia risk. People who had midlife and late-life high blood pressure had a higher risk of developing dementia compared to people whose blood pressure remained within normal ranges in midlife and late-life. The risk of dementia was also higher for those whose had midlife high blood pressure and late-life low blood pressure.
